Oktoberfest @ The Village
Oktoberfest returns to Tufts Memorial Park this October. The evening kicks off with Kinderfest from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, a fun festival for children and families to enjoy. There will be music, crafts, a bubble artist and Halloween fun!

Healthy Kids Running Series
Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events!
Early Care Academy

One-day Prepared Childbirth Class
Moore Regional Hospital hosts a Prepared Childbirth one-day class from January to November. The class is held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The goal of the class is to provide specific information about the latter stages of pregnancy, labor and delivery, a tour of the Women and Children’s center, as well as what to expect following delivery. This consolidated one-day class will not cover infant CPR or car seat safety. Registration is required. One registration includes both the patient and one support person. We recommend that you register during your first trimester.
Community Book Swap
After the Veteran’s Day Parade, swing by our Community Book Swap! Bring up to 10 gently-used books (in good condition and fairly current) to trade or just come to browse.
Books for all ages are welcome!
Any books left behind will find a new home in our Little Free Libraries—please note they cannot be returned, but we’ll make sure they’re enjoyed by others!

Some of our STEM+Arts programs are open to the public, giving families a chance to experience innovation, education, and fun together. But 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales through our online program go directly to support the continued development of our 82-acre Children of Fallen Heroes STEM and Retreat programs in Moore County.
