Mommy & Me Yoga (Newborn-12 MO)
This class is for mothers and their children newborn to 6 months that focus on gentle movement, breathing, and relaxation, along with fun interactive mindful play with baby! Regular class rates apply.

Bookshop Storytime Fridays
Storytime is back at The Country Bookshop in Southern Pines, beginning Friday, April 3rd at 10:30 AM. These engaging morning gatherings are tailored for toddlers and preschoolers, offering a cozy and inviting space to enjoy stories together. Families are encouraged to stop by and take part in this cherished local tradition as it returns for a new season. It’s a great way to kick off the weekend while discovering all the bookshop has to offer!
Preschool Connection Club (ages 3-5, drop-off)
This drop-off class for preschool-aged children offers a playful and supportive envirnment to practice independence and build confidence. Through creative movement, mindfulness practices, process-based art, and imaginative play, children explore self-expression and connection. Little Bambinos T-Ball League (May Series)
MoCo Mom is introducing Little Bambinos, a T-Ball mini series created especially for our littlest little leaguers (ages 2–4). Since Parks & Recreation programs typically begin at age 5, this short series allows us to gauge interest while giving toddlers a fun, low-pressure introduction to the game.
Bourbon & Berets
The Special Forces Trust is hosting this special event with local vendors and bourbon tastings along with fun for the whole family. Guests can plan to arrive at 6pm on May 1st
Family Field Day
Join us in the Marbles Playway and Moore Square for a day full of family fun! Family Field Day is an outdoor play festival for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a toddler, teen, parent, or grandparent, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Guided by a speech therapist, Erika Schroer with Sweet Magnolia Speech Therapy, children explore sounds, words, gestures, and social interaction through developmentally appropriate play, songs, and simple routines. Caregivers participate alongside their child in a warm, low-pressure environment that encourages curiosity, connection, and confidence in communication.

Live After 5
Join us for a night of good food and dancing at the second concert in the Live After 5 series. Food trucks will be on-site with a wide selection for all to enjoy. Beer, wine, and additional beverages will also be available for purchase. Picnic baskets are allowed; however, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
This is a great FREE event the entire family is sure to enjoy. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes!

MoCo Mom is introducing Little Bambinos, a T-Ball mini series created especially for our littlest little leaguers (ages 2–4). Since Parks & Recreation programs typically begin at age 5, this short series allows us to gauge interest while giving toddlers a fun, low-pressure introduction to the game.

Carolina Polocrosse Clubs annual Memorial Day weekend tournament at the Pinehurst Harness Track is here on May 23rd at 8am through the 24th at 4pm. This event is free and open to the public with food on site to enjoy.
Girls on the Run 5K
Girls on the Run Sandhills is a nonprofit that uses running to help girls in grades 3–8 build confidence, resilience, & life skills. This is our 1st year in Moore County, and we’re hosting our first-ever Girls on the Run 5K on Saturday, May 23 at McLauchlin Park in Raeford.

Guided by a speech therapist, Erika Schroer with Sweet Magnolia Speech Therapy, children explore sounds, words, gestures, and social interaction through developmentally appropriate play, songs, and simple routines. Caregivers participate alongside their child in a warm, low-pressure environment that encourages curiosity, connection, and confidence in communication.

This drop-off class for preschool-aged children offers a playful and supportive envirnment to practice independence and build confidence. Through creative movement, mindfulness practices, process-based art, and imaginative play, children explore self-expression and connection.
