From caterpillars to birds, and flowers to trees, find out what lives in your neighborhood as well as how to get more critters into your yard. Join us on Wednesday June 17 at 10 AM as we read a book, do some activities, and make a craft. All activities will be geared towards 3 to 5-year-olds and meant for parents to do with their children.

5K and Coffee with SLAM (Free!)
Join Sweat Like A Mother (SLAM) for a free and open to the public event on Thursday June 25 at 9:30 AM. Moms and their kiddos should meet at Red's Corner/Pony Espresso for a fun filled 5K. There will also be a 1 mile option for walkers.
Drums of Liberty

Celebrating Independence: Parade
Continue the festivities into the morning as we celebrate America and 250 years of independence at our annual Independence Day Parade in the Village of Pinehurst. The Parade begins promptly at 9:30 AM.

Peach Pathways
From July 18–22, 20 unique handcrafted glass peaches will be hidden along trails across the Sandhills, and the challenge is on to discover them all. Locations will be announced daily on social media pages.

Peach Week Fun Run 5K

MoCo Mom is introducing Little Bambinos, a T-Ball mini series created especially for our littlest little leaguers (ages 2–4). Since Parks & Recreation programs typically begin at age 5, this short series allows us to gauge interest while giving toddlers a fun, low-pressure introduction to the game.

Horses Benefit Kids 2026
Join the Weymouth Center along with Horses Benefit Kids organization on May 2nd for a Derby Day of fun, riding, and watching the big race! A Show Jumping invitational will start the day at 2pm followed by a Derby Watch Party beginning at 5pm
