Families can drop off their moms at Mom Camp: Golf Edition at the beautiful Pinehurst Resort, led by the amazing Kellie Edelblut-Fry (she’s kind of a big deal — but don’t worry, no experience required on your end!) & Paul, alongside our MoCo Mom leads who will make sure it’s a fun, relaxed day on the greens. Little Bambinos T-Ball League (May Series)
MoCo Mom is introducing Little Bambinos, a T-Ball mini series created especially for our littlest little leaguers (ages 2–4). Since Parks & Recreation programs typically begin at age 5, this short series allows us to gauge interest while giving toddlers a fun, low-pressure introduction to the game.
Family Field Day
Join us in the Marbles Playway and Moore Square for a day full of family fun! Family Field Day is an outdoor play festival for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a toddler, teen, parent, or grandparent, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Malcom Blue Festival
Enjoy bluegrass performances and yard games all day with beer, cider, and food available for purchase. Don’t forget your lawn chairs! Our line-up includes: The Ax Handlers, Shannon Baker & sometime soon, Time Sawyer, and The Wilson Springs Hotel.

Horses Benefit Kids 2026
Join the Weymouth Center along with Horses Benefit Kids organization on May 2nd for a Derby Day of fun, riding, and watching the big race! A Show Jumping invitational will start the day at 2pm followed by a Derby Watch Party beginning at 5pm

Live After 5
Join us for a night of good food and dancing at the second concert in the Live After 5 series. Food trucks will be on-site with a wide selection for all to enjoy. Beer, wine, and additional beverages will also be available for purchase. Picnic baskets are allowed; however, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
This is a great FREE event the entire family is sure to enjoy. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes!

37th Annual Buggytown Festival
On May 9th from 9am to 4pm in downtown Carthage:

Polocrosse in the Pines 2026
Carolina Polocrosse Clubs annual Memorial Day weekend tournament at the Pinehurst Harness Track is here on May 23rd at 8am through the 24th at 4pm. This event is free and open to the public with food on site to enjoy.

Colonial Games
America will celebrate its 250th anniversary! Come explore what everyday life looked like for children over 200 years ago on Sunday April 26th from 2pm to 4pm. This will be an interactive program to include games, hands on activities, and teamwork while learning about history along the way.
Celebration of the Military Child
Join us for this annual celebration of the many military children in our community. Co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills, this fun-filled afternoon will include a free cookout, kid-friendly activities and live entertainment. This event is open for everyone to enjoy an afternoon full of family fun.

Event begins Wednesday April 22nd at 9am and runs daily until 2pm, ending April 24th
