Dress in costume and join MoCo Mom for the Tiny Tots Creepy Crawl in the Village of Pinehurst!

We’ll kick off at Given Memorial Library with a sweet craft and cozy storytime, then toddle through the Village with our MoCo Mom leads & friends. Stops include Bump & Baby, Purple Thistle Kitchen & Co., and C. Cups Cupcakery—collecting tiny treats and big smiles along the way—before we finish by getting the wiggles out at Tufts Memorial Park in the heart of the Village. After the crawl, cap the morning with something delicious at Agora Bakery & Café.

Come take a break with us during Downtown Southern Pines Trick-or-Treat! Enjoy a sensory-friendly space with building, art, yoga, books, and sensory play—away from the crowds, but still part of the fun!

Trick-or-treat at the local downtown businesses in Southern Pines at 5pm, then join us at the Downtown Park at 5:30pm for Halloween theme games, crafts, activities, and best dog costume raffle. Stay afterwards for a magic show from 7-7:30pm.

Oktoberfest returns to Tufts Memorial Park this October. The evening kicks off with Kinderfest from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, a fun festival for children and families to enjoy. There will be music, crafts, a bubble artist and Halloween fun. Following Kinderfest, we’ll have traditional Oktoberfest activities from 6:00pm – 9:00pm featuring German music. Food and beverages will be available to purchase throughout the day.

Come in costume any time between 2pm-4pm to enjoy a family-friendly (non-scary) Halloween-themed nature trail, learn about the "spooky" critters of Weymouth Woods, and get some treats along the way.

Costumes encouraged – the sillier, spookier, or sweeter, the better! Come say hi to the Maison & MCL team, grab some goodies, and join the fun! Some of the decorations on the lawn may be spooky or scary for younger children. Please use your discretion and supervise little ones while enjoying the event.

Enjoy artisan work of all kinds, such as black smithing, honey making, handcrafted jewelry, soap, lotion, cheese and more. There will be petting zoo and pony rides available for the children. There will also be live entertainment and demonstrations scheduled throughout the day. Food and drinks also available!

Join the City of Sanford’s Parks and Fire Departments for a sweet evening of fun at our community Candy Drop from the fire truck! Come in your costume and be ready for lots of candy, crafts, and fun! Enjoy activities and a family-friendly movie under the stars!

A cozy fall Friendsgiving with Charlie Brown vibes! We’ll start with a classic charlie brown thanksgiving meal—jelly beans, popcorn, pretzels, and toast! Then kids will make Fall Crowns, followed by a sweet trail walk through the gardens wearing their new crowns and waving their new, mini Child of the Pines pennants. Perfect, low-key fun to welcome the season. Costumes or festive fall outfits welcome!
