Mom Camp is heading to the course!

We're trading the driving range for the real thing and taking Mom Camp on-course for a relaxed 9-hole golf experience at sunset. Whether you've joined us for lessons before, feel like a pro, or you're still learning the game, this series is designed to help women build confidence on the course in a fun, welcoming environment.

Each session includes four tee times with small groups of four, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to play, learn, and connect. PGA Professionals Paul and Kellie Edelblut-Fry will be out on the course providing guidance, answering questions, helping with course management, and offering on-course instruction as you play.

Registration will close one week prior to each session. Come for the golf, stay for the sunset, and leave with new friends, more confidence, and nine holes under your belt!!

FAQs

What exactly happens at Mom Camp?

1

Each Mom Camp begins with a guided golf lesson at Pinehurst Resort led by golf professionals and instructors who know how to keep things approachable for all skill levels. After lessons wrap, the group heads over to The Cradle for drinks and conversation.

Who is this for?

2

Moms. That’s really the only requirement.

Moms with babies. Moms with teenagers. Moms brand new to Moore County. Moms looking for friends. Moms who haven’t had a hobby in years. Moms who golf every weekend. Moms who have literally never held a club before.

All skill levels are welcome.

(We do ask that this one stays kid-free so moms can fully relax and enjoy the afternoon!)

Why we created it:

3

We spend so much time organizing camps, schedules, pickups, lunches, and activities for everyone else. Mom Camp was created as something intentionally for moms.

A reason to leave the house.
A reason to meet people.
A reason to try something new.
A reason to laugh at yourself a little.

And honestly? A reason to do something fun that doesn’t revolve around being productive.

What’s included?

4

Your registration includes:

  • a guided golf lesson at Pinehurst Resort

  • clubs that you can borrow

  • access to Thistle Dhu afterward

  • a relaxed social atmosphere with other local moms

  • optional drinks, cocktails, and mocktails available for purchase

Lessons run about 1.5 hours before everyone transitions into social time and putting.

What should I wear?

5

Athleticwear, tennis skirts, leggings, golf dresses, sneakers, or actual golf attire are all welcome. The vibe is far more “fun girls afternoon” than country club pressure. Just leave the denim at home today!
