Experience the chill and charm of Wintersville at Discovery Place Kids–Rockingham! From November 18 through December 29, families are invited to explore a magical winter wonderland packed with hands-on fun and seasonal adventures.

Kids can glide across a sock skating rink, dive into an indoor “snowball” flurry, and enjoy exciting science demonstrations that uncover the mysteries of ice fishing, snowstorms, and temperature changes. Around every corner, there are icy block-building zones, iceberg stepping stones, and surprise visits from Arctic animals waiting to be discovered.

The winter excitement continues in December with special programs where you can build igloos while learning about Inuit traditions, experiment with the colorful science of the Northern Lights, compare creatures from both poles, and craft your own snowstorm to explore how snowflakes form. Nearly every exhibit sparkles with festive decorations and seasonal touches, creating a joyful and educational winter escape.
