Join us to watch the annual traditional mounted hunt! Experience the excitement as members of the Moore County Hounds embark on a hunt reminiscent of the Boyds’ era. Founded in 1914 by James and Jackson Boyd, the Moore County Hounds continue this long-standing tradition today.
The hunt will begin at 9:00 a.m. and is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. to see the horses gather at the house. Bring your chairs, blankets, and tailgates, and enjoy this unique spectator event!
Dine after the dash! Stay at Weymouth Center for a traditional hunt breakfast featuring a buffet-style brunch and an open bar featuring beer, wine, mimosas, and Bloody Marys. Enjoy stepping back in time for a traditional hunt breakfast like the Boyds would have hosted.
