Third Thursdays
Hosted by the Town of Aberdeen's Downtown Aberdeen Advisory Board and Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway in the heart of Historic Downtown Aberdeen every “Third Thursday” of the summer months (June - September) from 5pm - 8pm.
This series features live music, engaging family-friendly activities, the Social District, and a relaxing atmosphere that welcomes all ages.

Breastfeeding Education Class
Expectant parents will learn the benefits of breastfeeding, positions to use while breastfeeding, feeding patterns, pumping and introduction of bottles. The class is held on the first and third Thursday of the month from 6-8 p.m. Breast pumps and other equipment that may be helpful to your breastfeeding routine will be shown. Most insurance companies will cover the charge for the class.

Little U
Introducing Little U, the library's new preschool program for children ages 3.5 to 5 years old. Join us on Thursdays at 3:30 pm for stories, songs, rhymes, and activities that explore the world of books, language, and literacy. Little U is a fun and interactive program designed to help preschoolers develop early literacy skills in preparation for kindergarten and beyond!

Pre-School Storytime

Mommy & Me Yoga (Newborn-6 MO)
This class is for mothers and their children newborn to 6 months that focus on gentle movement, breathing, and relaxation, along with fun interactive mindful play with baby. This class is designed to help mothers bond with their babies and connect with community. Regular class rates apply.

Monroe Street Farmers Market

Moore County Farmers Market
Shop fresh, local, and producer-only goods at two weekly markets in Southern Pines. The Thursday Market runs year-round from 9 AM–12:30 PM at the Armory Sports Complex (604 W. Morganton Rd). The Saturday Market takes place Downtown at 156 SE Broad Street from 8 AM–12 PM, March 8 through November 22, 2025 (no market the first Saturday in October). Note: The Thursday market shifts to Wednesday during Thanksgiving week.

Third Thursdays
Hosted by the Town of Aberdeen's Downtown Aberdeen Advisory Board and Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway in the heart of Historic Downtown Aberdeen every “Third Thursday” of the summer months (June - September) from 5pm - 8pm.
This series features live music, engaging family-friendly activities, the Social District, and a relaxing atmosphere that welcomes all ages.
