Pregnancy is a transitional time in your life bringing many changes and opportunities to grow. Classes will help you learn to link breath with postures creating a mind and body awareness giving you the ability to respond in the birthing process. Pre/Post Natal yoga is a non heated, 60 minute class, gentle yoga practice that teaches you ways to adjust to the changing needs of your body during and after pregnancy.
With consistent practice you will:
Learn movements to decrease the common discomforts of pregnancy; for example, decrease back pain, sciatica, and swelling of ankles & feet
Strengthen body, increase flexibility, and endurance
Improve circulation and aid in digestion
Strengthen uterus and pelvic muscles
Nourish the nervous system
Feel more prepared and confident for labor and birth
