Calling all readers, dreamers, and lovers of stories! Join us for Book Fairy Academy at the library — a magical gathering where book lovers of all ages (yes, adults too!) can learn how to spread the joy of reading throughout the community.

We’re thrilled to welcome North Carolina’s Official Book Fairy, who will share a brief talk about the magic of book fairies and how a simple act of sharing a book can spark connection, kindness, and imagination.

After the talk, you’ll have the chance to become a book fairy yourself!

📚 Bring a book you’d like to prepare and “hide” somewhere in the community for another reader to discover. Don’t have one? No worries — we’ll have a few available to get you started.

🧚 We’ll also have fairy-themed crafts for kids, teens, and adults, so everyone can make a little magic to take home.
