Update: A small change to our story…Due to incoming snowy weather next week, the new Aberdeen Public Library Ribbon Cutting is being re-shelved. New Date: February 9 at 4:00 PM.
✨ We made it to the finish line. ✨
What started as a vision—shared by a small but determined group of people—has finally become a reality. This library represents years of advocacy, countless conversations, steady perseverance, and an unwavering belief in the power of community spaces. There were moments when the path felt long, but the commitment never wavered.
Because of that dedication—and the continued support of our FOAL community—we are proud to say that we made this happen together. This milestone isn’t just about a building; it’s about what it represents: access, connection, learning, and a legacy that will serve our community for generations to come.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate this incredible accomplishment at the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the new Aberdeen Public Library. It wouldn’t feel complete without the people who helped make it possible standing with us as we open the doors.
📍 Ribbon Cutting: Monday, January 26 at 4pm
📍 Open House: Saturday, January 31 | 10am–Noon
Thank you for believing, supporting, and staying the course with us. This moment belongs to all of us. 💙📚”
